Private Options
Jacques de Vos has over a decade of experience catering for clients who prefer a private experience (Norway, South Africa and Asia). This ranges from high profile persons who need anonymity to those who simply prefer a smaller group.
With Arctic Freediving, Jacques has been doing the same for years and we are able to accommodate these types of requests.

Whale Watching In Norway
Before visiting Norway it is important to know that as a visitor you play a crucial role in the well being of the animals we encounter, as well as the future of whale watching in Norway.
As the popularity of whale watching in Norway increased, so did the amount of traffic and most operators follow a ‘high volume’ approach. This can sometimes be as extreme as a single operator running 3 inflatable boats, each with 12 guests plus a guide, resulting in situations where anything from 13 to 39 people are in the water in the same spot…
Arctic Freediving established itself as the first and only operator to follow an education based approach with stricter requirements for guests to join, while also limiting group sizes. We also avoid the aforementioned situations at all costs to ensure ethical and safe experiences for both the animals and our guests.
HOW DIFFERENT CAN IT BE?
ARCTIC FREEDIVING
• Maximum 4 guests
• Skill based in-water requirements for guest to join.
• 1.5 days of dedicated education, briefings and in-water preparation before seeing any animals
• Long trip structure: can be selective in choosing suitable interactions (ethical)
• Individual approach to clients (we remember all our guests:)
• Certified, highly skilled guides with minimum instructor level certification
• Legally registered in Norway, certified and tax compliant (no risk of being shut down)
VS
